How do I paint fur with the marker?
Pull the tip along the lie of the fur in short strokes and leave the tips lighter. The contrast paint settles between the hairs and creates the shadows you would otherwise have to paint one by one.
How do you use a Quick Marker?
Uncap it and paint straight from the brush tip. Light pressure releases the paint, so there is no palette and no thinning. Shake the marker before first use and press the tip onto scrap paper until it saturates.
Can I get the paint onto a palette?
Yes. Stroke the tip across a wet palette and work from there with a brush – useful when you want to mix the shade or pull it into a transition.
