FAQ
How do I colour a grass tuft with the marker?
Run the tip across the tips of the blades only and leave the root darker. The contrast paint runs downwards, so the base of the tuft darkens by itself and gives depth.
How do you use a Quick Marker?
Uncap it and paint straight from the brush tip. Light pressure releases the paint, so there is no palette and no thinning. Shake the marker before first use and press the tip onto scrap paper until it saturates.
Can I get the paint onto a palette?
Yes. Stroke the tip across a wet palette and work from there with a brush – useful when you want to mix the shade or pull it into a transition.
