What it is for in figure painting

What to pair it with
Place the chips in Chocolate and add a thin light line of Deck Tan just below them for depth. Build rust around them with Medium Rust.

How do I chip without it looking like dots?
Use a sponge or a splayed brush and only place chips where they would really happen – edges, step plates and around handles.
How do I thin it?
With water or an AK thinner. A few drops are enough for brush work; airbrushing needs more – AK thinners and cleaners are made for that. With acrylics, two thin coats always beat one thick one.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, the 3rd Generation range dries matt. To protect the figure or even out the sheen, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
