Lion – 3D printed resin figure, 75mm (1/24), ready to paint. Printed to order, ships within 7 days.

A lion with a full mane walks with a confident stride and its head slightly lowered. The mane is the largest area of detail on the model – thick locks alternate with deep folds, so drybrushing and a glaze create natural relief with little effort. The lion is the only cat that lives in groups, and a dark-maned male is one of the symbols of the African savanna.

Scale and format

The model is 1/24 scale, which corresponds to 75mm in hobby terms. The lion stands on four paws without a base.

Recommended paints

The lion’s body is sandy-yellow to tawny with a paler belly, and the mane shades from golden brown to dark brown or even black at the tips:

Printing and preparation

We print the model on an 8K resin 3D printer in high quality, so even the finest details are preserved. The printed model is cleaned, cured and ready for priming and painting. Supports and their marks are removed.

We print our figures ourselves on an 8K resin printer. Some pieces are already printed and ship right away. If this figure is not printed yet, we ship it within 7 days of your order. When you pay by bank transfer, the 7 days start once the payment reaches our account.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the figure?
A lion stands about 1.2 metres at the shoulder and is almost 3 metres long including the tail. At 1/24 scale the model is roughly 5 cm tall and about 12 cm long.

Is the figure painted?
No. The figure comes unpainted in a single resin colour – the colours in the photos show how it can look once painted.

Does it need any preparation before painting?
The model is cleaned and cured after printing and the supports are removed. We recommend applying a primer before painting – paint adheres better and the details stand out.

When will you ship it?
If it is already printed, it ships right away. If not, we print it and ship it within 7 days of your order; with bank transfer, within 7 days of receiving your payment.
