Does the marker work out more expensive than the bottle?
A marker holds less paint than an 18 ml bottle, but needs no palette, no water and no brush cleaning. For an army the bottle wins; for quick work at the table the marker does.
How do you use a Quick Marker?
Uncap it and paint straight from the brush tip. Light pressure releases the paint, so there is no palette and no thinning. Shake the marker before first use and press the tip onto scrap paper until it saturates.
Can I get the paint onto a palette?
Yes. Stroke the tip across a wet palette and work from there with a brush – useful when you want to mix the shade or pull it into a transition.
