How do I get a straight stripe from a marker?
Set the tip down at the start and pull in one continuous stroke – every pause leaves a darker blob. For a truly sharp edge, mask it.
How do you use a Quick Marker?
Uncap it and paint straight from the brush tip. Light pressure releases the paint, so there is no palette and no thinning. Shake the marker before first use and press the tip onto scrap paper until it saturates.
Can I get the paint onto a palette?
Yes. Stroke the tip across a wet palette and work from there with a brush – useful when you want to mix the shade or pull it into a transition.
