A set of three inks to bring out wood and leather – mahogany, light wood and eggplant. They give brown surfaces a liveliness ordinary acrylics often lack. Mix them into acrylics, or apply straight with a brush or airbrush as a filter or wash; their transparency lets you layer them over a base colour.

Can the ink be mixed with acrylic paints?
Yes. The manufacturer recommends mixing it into acrylics to make them very vivid and saturated.
What is the eggplant for?
Eggplant deepens shadows on leather and dark wood and gives them a cooler, richer tone than a plain brown wash.
Individual inks are in the AK The Inks category.
