The smaller bottle of AK's classic cleaner. It dissolves acrylic paint in an airbrush, on brushes and on tools, so it serves for flushing between colours and for cleaning up at the end. It also works as a lubricant: if you are stopping for a few hours and would rather not strip the airbrush, leave a little cleaner in the cup and the needle stays clean. The 100 ml size suits anyone cleaning brushes more than airbrushes, or wanting a bottle on the desk alongside a larger one.

The larger size is Perfect Cleaner 250 ml. For thinning paint there is AK11500 thinner, and for enamels and oils white spirit. Paints are in the AK 3rd Generation range.
Frequently asked questions
How does it differ from the 250 ml version?
Volume and cap. The larger bottle has a special cap for controlled dosing and costs less per millilitre; this one is handier if you clean less or want a bottle within reach.
Does it clean enamels?
No, it is built for acrylics. For enamels, oil paints and enamel effects use white spirit.
Can it be used to thin paint?
No. Cleaner and thinner are formulated differently – a cleaner dissolves the binder, which is what you want when cleaning and not when painting. For thinning there is AK11500.
