Greenskin Punch is a Color Punch shade – a rich green mixed specifically for fantasy flesh. Its undertone is warmer than the toxic greens, so on an orc it reads as skin rather than plastic.

Shade with Russet Shadow or Lizard Green; highlight with Frog Green and Lime Green.
How do I paint convincing orc skin?
Base with Greenskin Punch, shade with the brown-green Russet Shadow and highlight with Frog Green. Add a very thin Sun Red glaze on knuckles, ears and nose – blood flush works on green skin too.
How do I thin it?
With water or an AK thinner. A few drops are enough for brush work; airbrushing needs more – AK thinners and cleaners are made for that. With acrylics, two thin coats always beat one thick one.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, the 3rd Generation range dries matt. To protect the figure or even out the sheen, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
The full range is in the AK 3rd Generation category.
