What it is for in figure painting
- Zombies and undead – the base coat for rotting skin.

How do I stop a zombie looking like a painted figure?
Unevenness. Keep the base in Decomposed Flesh and add violet, yellow and greenish glazes at random over small areas – healthy skin is uniform, rotting skin is not.
Can it be used on monsters?
Yes, especially trolls, goblins and anything meant to look unnatural. It need not imply decay – an inhuman hue is enough.
How do I thin it?
With water or an AK thinner. A few drops are enough for brush work; airbrushing needs more – AK thinners and cleaners are made for that. With acrylics, two thin coats always beat one thick one.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, the 3rd Generation range dries matt. To protect the figure or even out the sheen, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
