Why not highlight blue with white?
Because it turns grey. Blue has to be lightened through lighter blues into turquoise – which is exactly how this set is built.
Is there a dark enough shade for shadows?
Yes, the darkest is near-black. Use it only in the deepest folds – over a surface it would be too heavy.
How do I thin these paints?
With water or an Ionic thinner. They are self-hydrating, so they stay workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop for brush work, roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the set better value than single jars?
