Fang Grey is a light grey with a beige warmth – somewhere between bone and stone. It is exactly the tone of old fangs and horns that have yellowed but not yet gone brown. On a model it behaves calmly and takes even a hard shade.

What is the difference between Fang Grey and Bone?
Bone is yellower and creamier, Fang Grey is greyer and cooler. Use Bone for fresh bone and Fang Grey for old, worn bone.
How do I paint a convincing fang?
Base with Fang Grey, glaze brown at the root and draw the tip up with Ivory or white. The transition has to be gradual – a fang has no hard line.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
