How do I paint a gem with a marker?
Touch the tip to the middle of the cut and let the paint spread to the edges. Once dry, add a white dot with a brush – the marker does the colour, the brush does the reflection.
How do you use a Quick Marker?
Uncap it and paint straight from the brush tip. Light pressure releases the paint, so there is no palette and no thinning. Shake the marker before first use and press the tip onto scrap paper until it saturates.
Can I get the paint onto a palette?
Yes. Stroke the tip across a wet palette and work from there with a brush – useful when you want to mix the shade or pull it into a transition.
