Light Orange is a light orange with a red pull – something between salmon and tangerine. It is the highlight point of the orange ladder that does not push the tone towards yellow, so orange surfaces stay orange even at their brightest.

Why not highlight orange with yellow?
You can, but the hue shifts – the orange becomes a yellow. Light Orange lightens while keeping the orange character all the way up the ladder.
Does it cover well?
Moderately, like most light warm colours. As a highlight over an already orange surface one coat is enough.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
