Olive Green is a saturated olive with a yellow core – the classic military olive. It is saturated enough to work as a base coat and earthy enough to look natural on vehicles and uniforms. On bases it gives vegetation warmth.

How does it differ from Moss Green?
Olive Green is more saturated and darker, Moss Green more muted and lighter. Use Olive Green for vehicles and Moss Green for moss and grass.
What do I shade it with?
Dark Ochre or Brown Green. A green shade would read cold; a brown keeps it in the earth family.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
