The white base coat of the Glow Precision Fluor range, with high coverage and a matt finish. It goes on first, onto the detail that should glow – fluorescent shades are translucent and only reach full brightness over clean white. The manufacturer also recommends it as a base for highlighting and panel lining in intense colours. The cap brush can hit even the eye of a 28 mm miniature.

Then apply a fluorescent shade over the base: Green for plasma and xenos tech, Red for daemonic eyes or Yellow for fire. The white also works under AK Quick Gen contrast paints.
Does the base have to be fully dry?
Yes. Let it dry before the fluorescent shade goes on, otherwise the paints mix and the brightness drops.
What do I clean the brush with?
The paint is enamel-based, so rinse the brush in enamel thinner such as Odourless Thinner. Close the cap tightly after use so the paint does not dry in the bottle.
