Terrains Snow is a thick white paste that covers terrain, roofs, armour and branches – and unlike loose snow products it stays exactly where you put it, vertical surfaces included. Apply it with a spatula or an old brush in thin or thick layers; once dry it stays matt white with a fine grain that reads as settled snow at scale.

What to combine it with
Terrains Snow is the layer everything else sits on. Add freshly fallen dusting with Snow Sprinkles, thawing snow with Snow Microballons and glittering fractures with Ice Sparkles. Build frozen surfaces and floes from Resin Ice, and dirty snow in the ruts by mixing it with Puddles.
FAQ
How do I stop snow looking like white paint?
Do not apply it evenly. Snow collects on horizontal surfaces and in sheltered corners while edges and vertical walls stay dark – that contrast is what makes winter read.
Can the paste be dirtied?
Yes, and it should be. Mix in a drop of grey or brown acrylic for roadside snow; pure white belongs only on untouched areas.
How do I clean my tools?
Water, as long as the paste is still wet. Rinse the spatula and the old brush right after use – cured acrylic paste will not come off.
Can the paste be thinned?
Yes, with water or acrylic thinner if you need it to flow better. Thinning costs it some shape retention, so go easy.
