Paint drying on the needle tip is the commonest reason an airbrush stops spraying evenly mid-session. Flow Improver deals with it differently from a thinner: it does not lower viscosity, it slows drying, so the paint stays liquid exactly where the problem is. Dosing is simple – one drop per five drops of paint in the cup. It earns its place most on large areas that have to be sprayed in one pass, and in warm weather when acrylic dries faster than it can be laid down. The bottle holds 100 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Does Flow Improver replace thinner?
No, it complements it. Thinner lowers viscosity, Flow Improver slows drying. With nozzle trouble both are usually used together – paint, thinner and one drop of the additive.
How much should be added?
One drop per five drops of paint. More is not better – a large proportion extends drying so far that the coat stays touch-sensitive for a long time.
Can it be used for brushwork?
Yes. It extends the open time of paint on the palette and on the model, which helps with wet blending. For long sessions, though, a wet palette is more practical.
