Ionic Smart Colors sets – from six-shade Essential ladders to twelve-shade signature and themed selections. All of them contain full 20 ml jars, not samples.

What sets there are

• Essential – six shades of one colour family from shadow to highlight. Each solves one colour completely: black, white, red, blue, green, violet, magenta, orange, turquoise, pastels, skin tones or metallics.
• Starter sets – the Basic Set and Expansion Set, twelve shades each, with no overlap between them.
• Signature sets – palettes by well-known painters such as Arnau Lázaro, Rodrigo Akore, Átila Kawauti and CHK Minis.
• Themed sets – official palettes for the Malifaux and Malediction games and schemes for specific units.
• Real Heavy Metal – a metallic system in three steps: Base, Metallic Wash and Highlight.

Is a set worth it?

If you need at least half the shades, yes – a set costs less than the same number of individual jars. If you are only missing two, buy them separately.

Frequently asked questions

Do all sets contain 20 ml jars?
Yes, Ionic does not sell sets with reduced-size jars. You get the same jars as in the single colours.

Do the sets overlap?
The Essential sets do not overlap at all – each covers a different colour family. Signature and themed sets do share some shades; the exact contents are listed in each set's description.
