How do I paint a unit quickly and consistently?
Work colour by colour, not figure by figure. All the armour first, then all the metals, then all the details – it saves time and stops the first model looking different from the last.
How do I paint chipping on armour?
With a sponge or the tip of a brush, apply a dark metal to edges and raised areas only. Chips happen where armour rubs – not at random across the surface.
How do I thin these paints?
With water or an Ionic thinner. They are self-hydrating, so they stay workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop for brush work, roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the set better value than single jars?
