A marine iguana bust at 1/4 scale – head and neck so large that every bump and scale is visible. The marine iguana has conical growths on its head and a short blunt snout it uses to graze algae off underwater rocks. White salt crystals, sneezed out through nasal glands, often crust on its head – a detail you can recreate on the bust.
The bust is 1/4 scale. The head and neck stand on a square plinth printed as part of the model.
The marine iguana is dark grey to black, with paler growths on the head and white salt:

We print our figures ourselves on an 8K resin printer. Some pieces are already printed and ship right away. If this figure is not printed yet, we ship it within 7 days of your order. When you pay by bank transfer, the 7 days start once the payment reaches our account.
How big is the bust?
A 1/4 scale means the iguana’s head is four times smaller than in life – close to the real size of a small lizard. It is a piece meant for display painting.
Is the bust painted?
No. The bust comes unpainted in a single resin colour – the colours in the photos show how it can look once painted.
Does it need any preparation before painting?
The model is cleaned and cured after printing and the supports are removed. We recommend applying a primer before painting – paint adheres better and the details stand out.
When will you ship it?
If it is already printed, it ships right away. If not, we print it and ship it within 7 days of your order; with bank transfer, within 7 days of receiving your payment.
