What it is good for on miniatures

Frequently asked questions

How do I paint wolf fur?
A darker grey base, then Wolf Grey dry-brushed in the direction of the fur and white touched onto the highest points. Fur is painted in strokes, not areas – direction matters more than colour.

How does it differ from Fog Grey?
Wolf Grey is slightly darker and greener, Fog Grey lighter and bluer. Use Wolf Grey for fur and Fog Grey for mist.

How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.

Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
