What is NMM?
Non-Metallic Metal – metal painted with ordinary non-metallic colours, where the impression of shine comes purely from the drawing of light and shadow. In photographs and in a display case it reads more sharply than metallic paint, which often disappears under raking light.
Do I need the first volume?
No. The first volume deals with metals on vehicles and hardware, this one with figures. They are two independent books with the same approach.
