Camo Green is a dark olive with a yellow core – earthy, muted and exactly the tone of camouflage patterns. On a figure it reads calm and military; it is the colour you use over large areas of gear and packs.

How do I keep gear from merging with the uniform?
Give it a different tone and a different sheen. Even when the gear is the same olive, canvas is flatter and a shade darker than uniform cloth – that small difference is enough.
Is it too dark as a base?
On a figure, no; on a large vehicle, yes. On vehicles base with something lighter and use Camo Green for the shadows between panels.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
