Green Oxide is a pale mint green with a bright character – greener and more luminous than Verdigris. It is the top point of the green ladder and the colour of fresh oxidation, which on metal looks more toxic than calm verdigris.

How does it differ from Verdigris?
Green Oxide is greener and brighter, Verdigris bluer and more muted. Green Oxide reads chemical, Verdigris naturally aged.
Does it cover well?
Poorly, like most very light greens. As a highlight over a green surface one coat is enough; as a standalone colour it needs a light base.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
