Light Lavender is a very pale lavender – almost white, but with a clear violet tone. It is the top point of the violet ladder: it lightens a violet to the edge of white while leaving it its colour. On pastel cloth it also works as a colour in its own right.

Build shadows with Blue Violet and Lavender, transitions and highlights with Dead Pink and White.
Should I go to white after it?
Only on one or two extreme points, and only on larger models. On an ordinary figure Light Lavender is light enough to close the ladder.
Does it cover a dark base?
Badly, like all very light colours. It belongs on an already lightened base – as the first step out of darkness it does not work.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
