Ostrich Male – 3D printed resin figure, 75mm (1/24), ready to paint. Printed to order, ships within 7 days.

A male North African ostrich spreads its wings in display – exactly how it courts females or drives off a rival. It is the largest living bird; it cannot fly but runs at around 70 km/h. The spread wings with white plumes give the model a striking silhouette, and the black-and-white plumage is a rewarding highlighting exercise.

Scale and format

The model is 1/24 scale, which corresponds to 75mm in hobby terms. The ostrich stands on two legs without a base; we recommend gluing it to a heavier plinth.

Printing and preparation

We print the model on an 8K resin 3D printer in high quality, so even the finest details are preserved. The printed model is cleaned, cured and ready for priming and painting. Supports and their marks are removed.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the figure?
A male ostrich stands 2.1–2.8 metres tall. At 1/24 scale the model is roughly 9–11 cm tall – one of the tallest figures in the category.

Is the figure painted?
No. The figure comes unpainted in a single resin colour – the colours in the photos show how it can look once painted.

Does it need any preparation before painting?
The model is cleaned and cured after printing and the supports are removed. We recommend applying a primer before painting – paint adheres better and the details stand out.

When will you ship it?
If it is already printed, it ships right away. If not, we print it and ship it within 7 days of your order; with bank transfer, within 7 days of receiving your payment.
