Tentacle Pink is a saturated orchid pink with a violet core. On a figure it reads organic and slightly unsettling – which is why it is used for tentacles, fleshy growths and creatures that are not meant to look friendly. Away from fantasy it is a bold pink for cloth and hair.

Frequently asked questions
How do I paint tentacles so they look wet?
Base with Tentacle Pink, shade the recesses with Dark Magenta and put narrow, sharp highlights on the raised areas. Finish with gloss varnish on the crests only – wetness comes from the shine, not the colour.
Does it cover well?
Moderately. Over a dark base put Pink or Light Magenta down first – straight onto black it would need three or four coats.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
