Laser Pink is a neon pink that genuinely glows on a model. It is one of those colours with no natural equivalent – it belongs on energy weapons, magic effects, cyberpunk neon and anywhere the colour should read as a light source rather than a surface.

How do I paint a convincing glow?
The source must be the brightest thing and the surroundings must be lit. Base with a dark violet, fill the centre with Laser Pink, touch the core with white and lighten nearby surfaces with glazes of the same pink.
Does it cover a dark base?
Badly, like all fluorescent pigments. Always base under Laser Pink with white – without a white undercoat it loses half its glow.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
