FAQ
How do I make verdigris with a marker?
Touch the tip into the recesses and lower edges of the metal part only and let the paint run. Patina never covers a whole surface – the more irregular it is, the more convincing.
How do you use a Quick Marker?
Uncap it and paint straight from the brush tip. Light pressure releases the paint, so there is no palette and no thinning. Shake the marker before first use and press the tip onto scrap paper until it saturates.
Can I get the paint onto a palette?
Yes. Stroke the tip across a wet palette and work from there with a brush – useful when you want to mix the shade or pull it into a transition.
