FAQ

How do I get convincing verdigris on bronze?
Paint the part with a metallic, let it dry, then spot Turquoise Green into the recesses and along the lower edges only. Real patina collects where water runs – not across the whole surface.

Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.

Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
