White glue has two faults with loose materials: it leaves a plastic sheen and it does not soak in deeply enough. This fixer is alcohol based, so it spreads fast, penetrates a whole layer of sand or gravel and disappears once dry. Apply it with a brush, a pipette or an airbrush; clean up with alcohol.

What to combine it with
Spread the material dry first, arrange it, and only then drip the fixer on from above. It holds loose snows – both Snow Microballons and Ice Sparkles – reliably, as well as moss from Moss Texture and everything in the Vegetation category.
FAQ
Why not ordinary white glue?
PVA leaves a glossy film on the surface and does not cure evenly under a layer of sand. The alcohol-based fixer wicks through by capillary action and is invisible once dry.
Can it be thinned?
Yes, with alcohol. Use a thinned mix on fine materials – neat fixer can form a crust and shift the grain.
How do I clean my tools?
With alcohol or isopropanol, not water. Rinse the brush right after use.
Can it be used on a figure?
Yes, on the base and for fixing grass at the feet. It is not used on the figure's paintwork itself.
