How do I get green skin that does not look like modelling clay?
Do not use one green flat. Mix the base from Olive Green and Dark Green Gray, shade with Deep Green and highlight with Golden Olive – the olive tones are what make skin read as organic.
Does the set suit military green too?
Yes, Olive Green and Golden Olive sit close to common field tones. For accurate historical uniforms, dedicated sets such as WWII British Uniform Colors are the better choice.
Can the paints be bought individually?
Yes. These are standard shades from the AK 3rd Generation range in 17 ml bottles, so when one runs out you only replace that one.
Can they be airbrushed?
Yes. Thinned with 3rd Generation thinner they pass through a 0.2 mm nozzle as easily as lacquer paints. Neat, they are meant for brushwork.
