The greenish cast of this texture is meant for ground where green micro-organisms dominate the surface – humid planets, corpse-strewn swamps and anywhere a base should speak of rot. It belongs to the Wargame Terrains line, which means a smaller 100 ml pot at a price that suits a wargamer building bases in batches rather than one large diorama.

Pour standing water on top with Water Gel Swamp Green and add moss and algae with Moss Texture. Rusted, eaten-away metal in the scene is handled by Corrosion Texture. Build heavier mud from Terrains Muddy Ground.
Is the tone strong enough without extra painting?
Yes, the texture is greenish in itself. To push it further, go over the surface with a thinned green wash and pick out the edges with a drybrush.
Does it suit a historical scene?
Rarely – the green cast is deliberately unnatural. For ordinary damp soil, Wet Ground or Muddy Ground is the better fit.
How do I clean my tools?
Water, as long as the paste is still wet. Rinse the spatula and the old brush right after use – cured acrylic paste will not come off.
Can the paste be thinned?
Yes, with water or acrylic thinner if you need it to flow better. Thinning costs it some shape retention, so go easy.
