Dark Turquoise is a dark turquoise – dark enough to serve as a shade, colourful enough to stand on its own. It is an excellent colour for copper patina, marine motifs and anywhere a green-blue should be present without shouting.

How do I paint convincing patina?
In layers and irregularly: a dark bronze base, Dark Turquoise in the recesses only, Verdigris on the edges of the deposits, and finally let the bare metal show on the edges. Patina grows from below, not from above.
Is there a difference from Storm Blue?
A small one, but yes. Dark Turquoise is slightly lighter and greener, Storm Blue darker and bluer.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
