Fog Grey is a light grey with a clear blue cast. It is an atmosphere colour – the more of it you mix into a shade, the further away and the colder that shade reads. On a figure it belongs anywhere you want cold: ice, mist, ghosts, cold light from one side.

What is the difference between Fog Grey and Pearl Grey?
Fog Grey leans blue, Pearl Grey leans violet. Fog Grey feels colder and suits cold scenes, Pearl Grey is more neutral and more general-purpose.
Can I use it as an airbrush fading layer?
Yes. Thin it heavily, at least 1 : 3, and spray light passes from below – you get the same fade as a battlefield seen through mist.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
