FAQ
How do I use it on a 1:35 vehicle?
Prime white or light grey and lay German Grey on thinly with a brush or an airbrush. Panel lines and rivets darken on their own – with a contrast paint that is the main advantage over a standard acrylic.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
