How do I paint a being that is not quite solid?
Let it end somewhere. Towards the base, thin the colour into an ever weaker glaze until it merges with the surroundings. A hard edge turns a ghost into a statue at once.
Are the colours usable outside Malediction?
Yes, they are ordinary Ionic shades under game names. They work for magic effects in any game.
How do I thin these paints?
With water or an Ionic thinner. They are self-hydrating, so they stay workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop for brush work, roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the set better value than single jars?
