FAQ
Is Pink Flesh enough for skin on its own?
For tabletop quality, yes – one coat over white primer gives both colour and shadow. To push it further, use it as the base and go over the recesses a second time with the same paint or a darker flesh tone.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
