Pink is a classic mid pink – saturated enough to carry as a main colour and neutral enough to push warmer or cooler. It is the workhorse pink of the range and the base the whole pink ladder is built from.

What it is good for on miniatures

What to combine it with

Build shadows with Coral and Light Magenta, transitions and highlights with Gum Pink and Dead Magenta.

Frequently asked questions

How do I paint pink hair?
Base with Pink, shade the recesses with Light Magenta and draw the strands up with Gum Pink and Dead Magenta. With pink hair the shade is the key – without it, it reads as a wig.

Does it cover a dark base?
Poorly, like most pinks. Over black, base it with white or Light Coral, or you will need four coats.

How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.

Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
