How do I make Purple Flesh look like convincing demon skin?
Lay it over white primer and let it settle into the recesses. Then take Demon Purple or Necromancer Purple and hit only the deepest spots – eye sockets, under the chin, the joints. The gap between the two purples is what makes the skin feel alive.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
