Rotten Green is a very pale greenish tone – almost white, but with a clear green cast. It is the top point of the muted green ladders, closing them without turning them white, and on old surfaces it gives that faded, dusty look.

Does it cover a dark base?
Badly, like all very light colours. It belongs on an already lightened base – as the first step out of darkness it does not work.
Should I go to white after it?
Rarely. Rotten Green is already near-white, and its green cast is exactly what makes the surface look aged – white would reset it.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
