Emerald Green is a saturated emerald green – clean, rich and free of any yellow cast. It is one of those colours that immediately looks expensive on a figure: on robes, gemstones and scales it reads as a jewel rather than as paint.

How do I paint an emerald?
Dark on the top half, light on the bottom, a white dot in the opposite corner and a fine white line along the upper edge. Finish with gloss – without it the stone reads as a plastic bead.
Does it cover black primer?
In two to three coats. It gains saturation if you base it with a lighter green or a yellow.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
