This is not a finished earth colour but a blank – and that is the whole point. The neutral white paste is tinted with acrylic paint, so you mix exactly the soil you need: Normandy clay, Hungarian loess or African red earth. Tint in small doses and stir thoroughly; the colour darkens slightly as it cures. For a modeller working across regions it is cheaper than buying every shade separately.

FAQ
How much paint does tinting take?
Start at roughly one part paint to ten parts paste and build up. The paste darkens by about half a tone as it cures, so mix slightly lighter than the target.
Can I tint in the jar?
Better not. Take out only what you will use – the rest stays neutral in the jar and remains usable for the next scene in a different shade.
How do I clean my tools?
Water, as long as the paste is still wet. Rinse the spatula and the old brush right after use – cured acrylic paste will not come off.
Can the paste be thinned?
Yes, with water or acrylic thinner if you need it to flow better. Thinning costs it some shape retention, so go easy.
