What it is good for on miniatures

Frequently asked questions

How do I get natural-looking cheeks?
Thin it into a very light glaze and lay two or three passes only on the top of the cheek. One thick coat looks like make-up.

Can I use it over a whole figure?
On smaller figures, yes. On busts it works better as a glaze over a more neutral base – a large field of one pink reads flat.

How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.

Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
