Goblin Green is a muted olive green with a sage cast – a green that reads earthy rather than fantastical. On goblin and gremlin skin it looks more natural than the saturated greens, and on cloth it works as a calm natural colour.

Frequently asked questions

Why use a muted green on a goblin?
Because a saturated green reads as rubber on skin. A muted green with warm shadows looks like living skin – you can put the contrast on the clothing and gear instead.

What do I shade it with?
Lizard Green or Dragon Green. A brown works too and gives the skin an even earthier character.

How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.

Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
