Light Jade Green is a soft light green with a jade character – more muted and natural than mint. It is a pleasant colour for cloth, leaves and anything meant to feel calm and organic. As a highlight it closes muted green ladders nicely.

Frequently asked questions

How do I paint leaves that do not look artificial?
Never in a single green. Vary each leaf by a shade – some with a drop of yellow, some with a drop of blue – and keep the undersides darker. Nature has no two identical greens.

Is it good for jade?
Yes. Jade Green as the base, Light Jade Green as the highlight and a gloss finish with one sharp white reflection – jade is translucent and shiny.

How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.

Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
