FAQ
How does it differ from Putrid White?
Bone Brown is warmer and browner – it reads as dry bone. Putrid White has an olive cast and looks diseased. Use the first for skeletons in nature, the second for the undead.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
