FAQ
How do I separate leather from wood when they sit side by side?
Keep the leather matt and drybrush its edges with Light Leather. Do the wood in Wood and pull the grain out with thin strokes along the fibre – the difference comes from surface, not hue.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
