FAQ
What should I add to make the canvas look dirty?
Once it is dry, run Dirty Grey or Camel Brown along the lower edges and folds – lightly, into the recesses only. Quick Gen shades layer over each other without lifting.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
